PERU - CRUISING THE AMAZON RIVER is the new WebGuide created following the previous about Slovenia, Norway and others.
This WebGuide is dedicated to our experience made some years ago in the wonderful area of The Amazon River basin. We started from Iquitos, capital town of Peruvian Amazon region, and we went upriver to the river's source. In the while we paid a short visit to Pacaya-Samiria national reserve and a little indigenous community. Back to Iquitos we strolled along the town streets, harbour and stilt houses then we join the cruise on the Amazon river downward to Leticia-Tabatinga-Santa Rosa a triangle borders with Peru,Brazil,Colombia... we followed the cruise for 2 days till Pebas, the oldest Amazon village in Peru.
